Zohreh Ovaisi

I am a Computer Science Ph.D. student at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) working under the supervision of professor Elena Zheleva. My interests are mainly in Machine Learning, Data Science, and Causal Inference. More specifically, I am focused on unbiased and fair learning-to-rank/recommender systems. I received my bachelor's and master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Shahid Beheshti University (SBU) and UIC in 2015 and 2017 respectively.
